Located on the Bowthorpe Three Score housing development site to the west of Norwich, this project comprises 80 Dementia Care apartments and 92 Housing with Care flats, including specialist facilities for Bariatric Care and Extra Care. Taking advantage of Bunkers Hill ridge, the flats and apartments have been orientated towards the long views to the south, particularly those over Bunkers Wood.

A legible plan providing a journey for residents through and around the building that is clear, logical and intuitive. The plan has a simple organisational form with apartments radiating from the central communal space.
A central Communal Hub at the heart of the care village. This area houses a variety of spaces that are accessible for all residents. Contained within this ‘hub’ are a restaurant, café, social club, meeting room, health and wellbeing spa, shop, hairdresser, beauty salon, and a library along with support spaces and office accommodation.
A protective street frontage through the use of a series of screens that create phased privacy as you progress into the development.
